The US Congress is poised to “deem and pass" one of, if not the most damaging bills in US history. They are doing this despite the fact that an overwhelming majority of Americans are against it.

Let's gather on the sidewalks around the Governor's Mansion and Capitol this Sunday afternoon, the day scheduled for a vote by the US House of Representatives. We need to call upon Governor Heineman and our Senators to TAKE ACTION immediately.
It's their turn to send a message to Washington.

NOTE that because of the short tether on this, there was not time to secure a permit, so we need to limit ourselves to the PUBLIC SIDEWALKS and cannot obstruct pedestrians.
A number of states, like Idaho, are passing provisions that would either prohibit the bill from becoming a law in their state, or would require the state to file a lawsuit.
There is an amendment to the State Constitution, lying dormant in the Nebraska Unicameral, entered by Senator Beau McCoy, LR289C, that with a few additions, would be a method of nullifying unconstitutional Federal legislation.
