Whether You THINK About Health Insurance or NOT – Judge Says Government Can Regulate That

Sir…are those premiums, deductibles, or co-pays you’re thinking about? That’s commerce???

Remember Ripley’s Believe it or Not? Maybe the Ripley’s folks should present this information, because it’s about as strange as some of the things I remember seeing on the TV show I watched when I was a teen.

We’ve been writing about rulings on cases challenging the health care law, and most recently, we've put out some information about the January 31 ruling in the Northern District Court of Florida. Judge Roger Vinson's summary judgment declared the health care law unconstitutional.

A Federal judge in the D.C. district court, Gladys Kessler, clearly disagrees. She recently ruled the law is constitutional. An excellent article in the Wall Street Journal by John Fund summarizes the ruling best. Rather than reinvent the wheel here, I simply recommend you read the brief article yourself.
