EXAMPLE #1

To the members of the Government, Military, and Veterans Affairs Committee:

As a citizen of Nebraska, I wish to declare my support for L.R. 292. I would like to see this resolution approved by the Government, Military, and Veterans Affairs Committee members and be moved to the floor for a vote by all Nebraska Senators. I am of the opinion that the Federal government has been engaging in far too many actions that are outside the scope of those enumerated in Article I, Section 8, of the United States Constitution.

I believe that it is the direct responsibility of the Nebraska State Legislature to restate Nebraska's Sovereignty, as affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Who will assert this Sovereignty if not the members of the Unicameral? I am asking you all to support Nebraska's Sovereignty and the rights of all Nebraskans by voting to move this resolution to the floor of the Unicameral for a vote.

Sincerely,

John Smith

EXAMPLE #2

Government, Military, & Veteran’s Affairs Committee Senator

Bill Avery, Chairman

Nebraska State Legislature:

To the members of the Government, Military, and Veterans Affairs Committee: As a citizen of Nebraska, I wish to declare my support for L.R. That, we the people, are slowly loseing, not only our Sovereignty, but our rights as a free State. I believe that it is the direct responsibility of the People of Nebraska and of the Nebraska State Legislature to restate Nebraska’s Sovereignty, as affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Who will assert this Sovereignty, for the People of the Great State of Nebraska, if not the members of the Unicameral? I am asking you all to support Nebraska’s Sovereignty and the rights of all Nebraskans by voting to move this resolution to the floor of the Unicameral for a vote.

Sincerely, Bert
