This was a frustrating piece of footage to watch:
There is no justifiable reason to block an audit of the Federal Reserve. As noted by Sen. DeMint, that entity has been in control of the US money supply since 1913 and its actions are not seen in the light of day.
Who in their right mind would NOT want to audit it?
There are many troubling aspects of the Fed's structure, its conduct, and its power. This is particularly true in light of the recent news that President Obama wants to give additional powers to the Fed which would allow it to take over private businesses that it deems in danger of failing.
Sen. Nelson needs to be contacted and asked why he doesn't want his constituents and the rest of America to know what goes on at the Federal Reserve.
